Beth joined Buttercross Theatre Productions in 2021 after moving to Witney during lockdown and looking for a way to make friends, reconnect with performing, and become part of the local community. After appearing in Back to the 80s, her creative marketing ideas quickly led to a wider role within the organisation, and she now serves as one of the Directors of Buttercross Theatre Productions.

Beth supports almost every aspect of BTP life, from marketing, publicity, and website management to assistant directing, stage management, programme design, and production planning. She is usually found designing posters, filming trailers, chasing cast members for biographies and photos, organising backstage chaos, and consuming impressive amounts of caffeine.

A trained vocalist and experienced performer, Beth has appeared in productions ranging from Shakespeare and pantomime to large-scale musicals. Her favourite roles often involve a touch of mischief and more than a little glitter. Performance credits include Lady Marmalade (Disco Inferno), Fairy Pernicia (Puss in Boots), Debbie (Back to the 80s), Joanie (The Full Monty), Snug (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Mr Mushnik (Little Shop of Horrors), and numerous productions with theatre groups, choirs, and Oxford University Light Entertainment Society.

Outside of BTP, Beth is the founder and Chair of Trustees of the West Oxfordshire Performing Arts Foundation (WOXPAF), a charity dedicated to making performing arts more accessible, inclusive, and community-focused. Inspired by her own experiences at speech and drama festivals as a young performer in Northamptonshire, she established WOXPAF after recognising the absence of a similar platform in Oxfordshire. She is passionate about creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to develop confidence, creativity, and community through the arts.

Professionally, Beth works as a Consumer Insight Operations Manager, specialising in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. She brings the same organisational skills and enthusiasm to her voluntary work, helping deliver high-quality creative projects and building stronger connections across the local performing arts community.

When she’s not working, performing, or planning the next production, Beth enjoys creating props, costumes, and set pieces—with varying degrees of assistance from her chaotic dog and two highly opinionated cats.
