About

Dani has loved the theatre from a very young age, with her stage debut at 5 years old singing memory from CATS and hasn’t looked back since. Even though she didn’t follow the path to Drama school she did go on to get a Diploma in Art and Design. Dani took on the role of costume manager for BTP at the beginning of 2023 and uses her creative eye and attention to detail to make sure our cast all look the part in our shows.  

Alongside her full time job as a Department Manager, she organises the costumes and accessories for Buttercross Theatre Productions. She also coaches young singers to help them to reach their full potential, creating the new generation of performers. 

Dani’s credits include Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers, Joanne in Rent, Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, Simon in Jesus Christ Superstar, Mustardseed in Mid Summer Nights Dream as well as performing in the last 3 pantomimes where she played Cinderella and Mr Snach in Cinderella, Princess Badroulbadour in Aladdin and Brainy in Snow White.
