Jennifer has loved the theatre since a young age, performing in many school productions as well as becoming involved in the Oxford Playhouse Young Company for a number of years. Her passion for theatre led her to complete a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts, where she discovered a love for design and stage management, alongside performance. During her time at University she developed her skills in these areas by designing and stage managing a number of student productions both at the University and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as performing in shows such as The Wizard of Oz and Jesus Christ Superstar. After graduating Jennifer took her first dive back into performing with Oxford Siege Theatre’s production of Much Ado About Nothing. 

Jennifer has been a part of Buttercross Theatre Productions since 2022, having performed as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, PC Ping in the Aladdin Pantomime, Sarah in Our House, Ensemble in 9 to 5 and Snow White in the Snow White Pantomime. Alongside performing in BTP’s most recent production of Avenue Q, Jennifer has also taken on the role of Stage Manager, a role which she thoroughly enjoys as she can tap into her design background when sourcing and creating the props and some scenery for the show. 

Since 2023 Jennifer has also been fortunate enough to be involved with Balancing Act Productions, having portrayed the role of The Girl in BTP and Balancing Act Productions’ collaborative production of Joe Graham’s The Murmuration of Starlings, back in May 2023, she is now a very much looking forward to assistant stage managing/performing in the upcoming 2024/2025 productions.  

Outside of BTP Jennifer is a full time Executive Assistant to three senior professors at the Blavatnik School of Government (University of Oxford), a role in which she can often put her organisational stage management skills to good use.
