About

Lauren has been working with BTP since January 2022 teaching Musical Theatre Dance and is delighted to be part of our dance and choreography team. From a young age, she gained many accreditations in ISTD Modern, Tap and RAD ballet, and performed in a variety of medal competitions and dance shows. Lauren continued her training at the Royal Academy of Dance, where she focused on contemporary and choreography. She enjoys all genres of dance but has recently said, as part of her own training in Burlesque, it has become one of her favourite styles. Lauren enjoys the passion and freedom which dance provides her with and she aims to share this passion with her students while helping them to grow in a comforting and encouraging environment.

Lauren’s performing arts credits include Bobby Dazzlers Dance Show, Swing in Back to the 80s the Musical, Moth in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Estelle in The Full Monty the Musical. Lauren was also a choreographer for A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Full Monty the Musical. 

When Lauren is not teaching she works as a senior paralegal and is training to become a chartered legal executive.  Amongst her other creative talents, Lauren also runs a small crochet business called Dobbit Doodles with her Mum.
