From the age of 3 Sara had a love for dance and drama; performing ballet, modern and tap dance in pantos and shows. It was inevitable she would follow a creative path graduating from university with a BA Honours degree in the Performing Arts. With over 20 years’ experience, Sara continues to work in Television Broadcasting in London. Whilst working for companies including AMC, A+E Networks and Sky, she carried on her love of dance by attending master classes at Pineapple Dance Studios. Her strength is making people feel valued and giving them confidence to try new skills. She has been involved with Buttercross Theatre Productions since moving back to Witney from London in August 2021. Sara’s choreography and performance credits include Snitch & Snatch in Cinderella, Peaseblossom and Hippolyta in A Midsummer’s Nights Dream, Laura in Back to the 80’s and Pam in The Full Monty the Broadway version. Sara has been teaching Burlesque at BTP from early 2022 and is a qualified ChiChi-Fit Instructor. She is thrilled to be ‘Head of Dance’ at such an inclusive company and looks forward to continuing to see people explore, develop and build confidence through fitness and the medium of dance.
