Fame Jr gave our Youth Show Project performers the chance to take on one of musical theatre's most iconic stories in June 2025. Throughout rehearsals, the cast worked incredibly hard, tackling challenging songs, energetic choreography and powerful ensemble scenes, while having a fantastic time bringing the world of New York's High School of Performing Arts to life.

The show featured some outstanding vocal performances and tremendous growth from everyone involved. A particular highlight was the way the cast came together when illness threatened to disrupt the production. One of our young performers stepped into a role at the last minute and delivered a fantastic performance, demonstrating remarkable confidence, dedication and professionalism under pressure.

This spirit of teamwork, support and determination was evident throughout the production. The cast encouraged one another every step of the way, proving that great theatre is about working together as much as individual talent. Their commitment and enthusiasm resulted in an excellent performance that made everyone involved incredibly proud and showcased the strength of BTP's youth programme.
