Little Red Riding Hood brought festive fun, fairy-tale chaos and a healthy helping of pantomime magic to the Corn Exchange in December 2025. Packed with colourful characters, terrible jokes, audience participation and plenty of opportunities to shout at the stage, the production delivered everything audiences have come to expect from a Buttercross Theatre Productions Christmas panto.

Alongside Little Red's adventures through the forest, audiences were treated to appearances from the Three Little Pigs, a delightful Teddy Bears' Picnic, and the wonderfully cheeky Joketeers, whose groan-worthy jokes and mischievous antics kept both the cast and audience on their toes throughout the run. Add in a brilliant Big Bad Wolf, plenty of singing and dancing, and a generous sprinkling of festive silliness, and the result was a show packed with laughter from beginning to end.

As always, the production brought together performers of all ages and experience levels, creating opportunities for new and returning members to share the stage and develop their confidence and skills. The cast embraced the spirit of pantomime wholeheartedly, building friendships, teamwork and countless memories along the way.

Filled with laughter, community spirit and a touch of Christmas magic, Little Red Riding Hood was a wonderful way to end the year and a celebration of the creativity, friendship and fun that sit at the heart of Buttercross Theatre Productions.
