About Us

Hello! We're Buttercross Theatre Productions, an innovative performing arts organisation based in Witney, Oxfordshire.

Our classes

We offer a wide range of professional performing arts workshops for both adults and young people, run and taught by our skilled team of industry professionals in Theatre, Film, Dance and Vocal Performance Training. Our aim is to provide a relaxed and attentive environment for your performing arts training.

In our fun-filled sessions, you could be working on perfecting your performance skills and technique, or even work on technical 'behind-the-scenes' aspects of performing arts, such as designing costumes, props, programmes or scripts!

During your time with us, we'll help to build your self-confidence and nurture your self-esteem. You'll be given the opportunity to develop life skills such as communication, problem solving, perseverance, teamwork and accountability - which is great for your CV!

Oxfordshire Mind Logo

Oxfordshire Mind is our designated charity partner who we will be supporting at our shows.

Oxfordshire Mind is here to make sure anyone in Oxfordshire with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support. Last year we helped over 30,000 people. We promote good mental health through the provision of high quality services and campaigning for positive change. Our services include transitional housing, talking therapies, benefits advice, a confidential and free information line, wellbeing courses, physical activity programmes, volunteering opportunities, and peer-support groups. We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.

Our location

Currently, all of our workshops are held at The Corn Exchange in Witney, Oxfordshire. This location is in the centre of town and, if you live in a surrounding town or village, it is easily accessible by bus.
